Theatre
At the National Theatre we supported a new play by Alexander Zeldin Faith, Hope and Charity. Premiered at the Dorfman in September 2019, this is the third in his trilogy of plays (‘The Inequalities’) about community and austerity in contemporary Britain. In Spring 2023 we supported Zeldin’s own theatre production company – A Zeldin Company – to stage the North American premiere of LOVE – the second play in the ‘The Inequalities’ trilogy – at the Park Avenue Armory, New York.
In Spring 2026 we supported research and development for Zeldin’s play CARE – translated and adapted from his Une Mort Dans La Famille, first performed at Ateliers Berthiers in Paris in February 2022 – prior to its run at the Young Vic in Summer 2026.

Music
We supported Oliver Zeffman’s innovative project Eight Songs from Isolation, an opera created in response to and during the 2020 global lockdown.
Oliver commissioned orchestral songs (setting poetry, letters, and speech) from eight leading composers (including Thomas Adès, Freya Waley-Cohen, Huw Watkins, and Julian Anderson), to chart the ways lockdown has eroded our way of life and bring a new perspective on physical isolation. Each work is performed by a different singer (including soprano Sophie Bevan, mezzo Sarah Connolly and baritone Andrei Kymach) alone in a variety of locations around the world, shot entirely on iPhone.
