New Fund for Cinema and Television

Ethiopian Community Film Programme and Support for Arab-Palestinian Filmmakers

Project details

The New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT) is an Israeli non-governmental organisation positioned at the intersection of cinema and social change that provides financial and professional support to filmmakers.

We have supported two programmes run by NFCT. The Ethiopian Community Film Programme aims to nurture and empower filmmakers from the Ethiopian community in Israel and those who can shed light on the community’s challenges and achievements. The Filmmaking in the Triangle Region programme aims to identify new talents and give voice to Arab-Palestinian filmmakers; promote collaborations between Arab and Jewish filmmakers; and expose the general public to issues relating to the Arab society in Israel.
